EDA: Happy New Year!
Hi Folks,
Happy New Year! Looking back at 2022, we have a lot to be thankful for. As some of you may know, Justin assiduously tracks his New Year’s Resolutions (NYRs) via Google Sheets. In 2021, he started 85% of his 34 NYRs and completed 65% of them. In 2022, he improved marginally, starting 90% of his 30 NYRs and completing 67% of them, seeing most success in Personal and Physical categories, and least success in the Financial category (RIP the stock market). Here are some of our 2023 New Year’s Resolutions:
Justin
Finish his Georgia Tech Master of Science in Analytics (finally)
Bike 5000 miles (follow my journey on Strava 😃)
Complete 3 Century bike rides (100 miles in one go)
Place top 3 in a bike race
Dan
Read 25 books (1 every 2 weeks and 2 weeks OOO)
Be active more days than not
Develop 3 new non-tech hobbies
Deploy 4 needle-moving models in production
Take some time to read this piece from one of our favorite data bloggers, Josh Laurito (NYC), about his top 10 posts from 2022.
Otherwise, please fill out the EDA Demographics Survey so we know how to focus our events for the coming year! If you fill it out, you will receive details on how to get reimbursed for this Udemy Data Science course.
